In one of my latest videos, I've explored the charm of well-established residential communities, both gated and non-gated, that have become the cornerstone of the Sosua - Cabarete area. However, the story doesn't end there. The horizon is brimming with new possibilities as fresh residential communities are emerging, bringing with them stylish villas and modern condos. Join me as we delve into t...

The Sosua and Cabarete towns are so close, yet they are very different in many ways. And therefore, you can have an absolutely different nightlife experience in these two towns. Let's start with Cabarete. Cabarete is known for its lively nightlife. This beach town attracts people from all over the world, yet mostly Europeans, Canadians, and Americans, however, Dominican visitors from bigger cit...

10 Must-Try Dominican Dishes | Dominican Republic Cuisine | Typical Foods REUPLOADED
Просмотров 1,3 тыс.3 месяца назад
Dominican cuisine is the result of many continents and countries, but we can trace most Dominican food and tastes back to three strong influences: Tainos, Spaniards, and Africans. However, other regions and influences have found their way into Dominican kitchens too: from Chinese to British Caribbean, to Middle Eastern, and more. Each of these different influences has been embraced into the Dom...
Traffic Nightmare in Sosua - Cabarete in 2024
Просмотров 1,2 тыс.3 месяца назад
The Sosua - Cabarete area is rapidly expanding with many new projects popping up everywhere, yet did the municipalities take into account the number of additional cars wanting to commute in this area? Was it stupid to add 16 traffic lights in a main traffic artery? Was it stupid to add road cubes so vehicles get slowed down as they can't pass another vehicle that wants to turn in heavy traffic?...

Great video, lots of information and advice too. I like your attitude and honest opinion. Thank you
Glad it was helpful! Many thanks for watching and commenting!:-)
Damn you hit it right on the money!!! im not dominican but my husband is! hilarious but true all the way! thank you for all your videos!
Thank you for watching and commenting! :-) Cheers!
And here's what this Gringo hate when I come to Sosua. Stop comparing prices to what we pay in the states. You are not charging Dominicans 1000 pesos for haircuts!
Enlighten me! How can the Dominican Republic be racist when Dominicans and the rest of Hispanics are not even a race but an ethnicity? It’s like an insult to our intelligence.
Very interesting and informative
Glad you think so!
Very information

Excellent advice! Thanks for making the video. I agree with the American that not having that jab is a legitimate quality to look for, I also am pure blood and gave up on that criteria but he gave me hope to keep it. Very hard to find especially there from what I've seen using Tinder's Passport feature, many people their gave in, not sure if the had much of a choice however. The Dominican culture is to move relationships pretty fast but look out for love bombing and insinuating that they need financial help, too early. Their troubles should be kept out of the dating relationship out of respect early on. You are viewed as the ticket so don't be surprised but also, don't be so "tacao" stingy lol. Understand that you're dealing with a third world country and money and jobs are somewhat difficult to obtain. :) Looking for my Dominican wife as we speak. Happy hunting, best of luck, gente hermosa!
Many thanks for watching and commenting! Cheers! :-)
Hats off!! To the young man who spoke about respect for women. ❤ and as always Mr.T thank you for a great video
Thanks, Australia for commenting and watching! Brgds, Mr.T :)
That question could be answered with one sentence. For Dominicans, Gringos are walking ATM machines.
Nice content...thanks for sharing. Here's another active😊 subscription !
Thanks Joselito! Saludos, Mr.T :)
100 % More safer when iam in sosua. Then NYC!
The people of the DR are wonderful! I respect them and I’m thankful for their hospitality.
The thing is Americans are delusional they think it's not safe because they have this mentality oh it's a third world country it's undeveloped that's just how Americans are they think that the whole country has to look like Beverly hills Hollywood Boca Raton that's their mentality
Good going Mr t. Another great video 👌👌👌
Many many thanks, Dee!:-)
Yo Deivi , I drive better than you 😂 and I play basketball better than you 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾😎
Thanks for watching! Brgds, Mr.T
@@EducatedTraveler yea Deivi a good friend of mine , over 10 plus years 🙏🏽😀
I love your videos. They are so informative and very helpful. I visit family in Puerto plata every January. I love the DR and the natives. The only problem I have is the driving! If you could just do something about the drivers! I was told NOT to rent a car because if you get into an accident even if it's not your fault all they want is to get paid. It's unfortunate. Because the DR, weather, people and food are amazing and so beautiful.
Thanks Joe, and for staying tuned! Yes, if it's not a big bother during visits to simply use "Hired transportation" then for sure this is one way to remove the fault from you during a potential accident. But when you live here, then you need to go where you want, when you want, and having your own wheels become a must. We get better and better with time at reading the stupidity, habits etc... of drivers here (so much about preventing situations) and as our Spanish gets better, this too helps us in situations where someone does try to pull a swifty on us. Enjoy your future trips! Brgds, Mr.T :)
Daniella didn’t understand the question 😂 why she do the Bronx like that😂😂😂
Yes she did actually say that when they come down here, some treat her in a bad way (probably try to "buy her services" for services she doesn't offer) yet some dudes tar every girl here with the same brush, that's her beef with such dudes.
Hmm. That’s how it is with Puerto Ricans, Cubans, Mexicans, etc in the US. They bring their music, their food, their flags, etc and live like they did when in their country.
You've got a good point, and I don't try to become part of the culture, but rather just try to respect it, like I like when they respect mine. I like Rock, Blues, and more, yet after 16+ years, I still can't stand listening to too many "tipica" songs in a row, so that leaves me to either tolerate it, or leave that place with the ear-piercing music to another much more tranquillo hang-out, and there's plenty of options. Thanks for watching and commenting! Brgds, Mr.T
@@EducatedTraveler Dopey Puerto Ricans are Americans.
So do Italians, Greeks,Irish, French, Canadians. What's your point?
Iv been here for 21 nights the beach in sosua is much nicer than cabarete but the town is a much slower pace than sosua town i found the prices for rent a bit high in cabarete for long term rental.
yoooo I never laughed sooo damn hard man ! que viva La Republica
I am glad you enjoyed it! :-) Thanks for watching and commenting! Cheers!

🙂 oh the interesting things you see :)
Great video Mr T but my favorite night life place to be is Brick City Flames Sports Bar across from Merengue. You showed it in your video but didn't mention it. I love sitting anywhere at the windows and having a perfect view of the strip while listening to good music and enjoying a cocktail
Thanks for watching and commenting! Yes, Brick City Flames is a good spot too.
Interesting this topic. The german man is conscient about the agenda 2030, the great reset from global elites, purpose of "vakseen"...but the russian man has no idea what is going on about that... funny but not funny. Same with expat russians here in mexico. And russians that are here for vacation, like their country. And they know what is going on since kovveed.
Sir - this video is going to bring millions of gringos to north coast :)
Great! Let them come :-)

Hi, not for now, however maybe scroll through and watch my other videos like Nightlife, gated communities, expats communities, Expats opinions... etc... etc... - they are all updates (and even join me on instagram for daily videos), cheers! Brgds, Mr.T
Do you have a contact number for someone?
for jet skiing I assume you mean? There used to be a couple who did such tours, but they closed down because of Con-vid - Best solution is just to get here, then go to La-Boca and offer money to some of the private owners visiting there in the weekends.
Beautiful Dominican Republic ❤
Indeed :-) Thank you!
